Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Destination Cart (“Destination Cart,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we strive to provide a seamless travel booking experience. Please read this Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before making a booking.

By confirming a booking with Destination Cart, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Payment Policy

To secure a booking, travelers must adhere to the following payment schedule:

Initial Booking Payment

  • A minimum of 10% of the total trip value must be paid within 24 hours of confirming the booking.

Confirmation Payment

  • 30% of the total booking value must be paid as the booking confirmation amount.

Final Payment

  • The remaining 70% balance must be paid at least 30 days before the departure date.

Non-Payment

Failure to complete payments within the required timeline may result in automatic cancellation of the booking without prior notice. Applicable cancellation charges may apply.


2. Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted through:

  • Registered email address

  • Official customer support communication channels

The effective cancellation date will be the date on which the cancellation request is received by Destination Cart.

Cancellation Charges

More Than 30 Days Before Departure

  • 20% of the total booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.

Within 30 Days of Departure

  • 100% cancellation charges apply.

  • No refund will be provided.

Booking Confirmation Amount

  • The booking confirmation amount is non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed.

  • If the required 30% confirmation payment is not completed within one month of booking or at least three months before travel (whichever is earlier), the booking will be considered cancelled and any amount paid shall be forfeited.


3. Refund Policy

General Refund Rules

  • Amounts paid towards bookings are generally non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

  • Refund eligibility may vary depending on supplier terms, special offers, promotional fares, and package conditions.

Service Cancellation by Destination Cart

If a booking or service is cancelled by Destination Cart for operational reasons, the amount paid may be:

  • Issued as a Credit Note for future travel bookings; or

  • Processed according to specific supplier policies, where applicable.

Cash Refunds

  • Destination Cart reserves the right to issue travel credits, vouchers, or credit notes instead of cash refunds where permitted by supplier agreements.

  • Refund methods, if approved, will be processed through the original payment source whenever possible.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds may take additional time depending on:

  • Airlines

  • Hotels

  • Tour operators

  • Payment gateways

  • Banking institutions

Destination Cart is not responsible for delays caused by third-party suppliers or financial institutions.


4. No-Show Policy

Failure to:

  • Join a trip,

  • Check into accommodation,

  • Board transportation,

  • Participate in booked activities,

on the scheduled date and time shall be treated as a No-Show.

No-Show Consequences

  • No refund will be provided.

  • No credit note will be issued unless specifically approved by Destination Cart and the relevant supplier.


5. Force Majeure

Destination Cart shall not be liable for cancellations, interruptions, delays, or inability to provide services resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Floods

  • Earthquakes

  • Fires

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Pandemics or public health emergencies

  • Government restrictions

  • Visa restrictions

  • Political unrest

  • Civil disturbances

  • Flight cancellations

  • Airline operational issues

  • Strikes

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Acts of war or terrorism

In such situations, refund eligibility will depend entirely upon the policies of the respective airlines, hotels, transport providers, tour operators, and other third-party suppliers.


6. Credit Note Policy

Where a Credit Note is issued:

  • It will be valid for the period specified at the time of issuance.

  • It may only be redeemed against eligible Destination Cart services.

  • Transferability is subject to prior written approval.

  • Partial redemption may or may not be permitted depending on the type of booking and supplier restrictions.

  • Unused balances may expire upon completion of the validity period.

Credit Notes have no cash value unless otherwise stated.


7. Processing Cancellation & Refund Requests

To request a cancellation, refund, or travel credit, please contact us using your registered email address.

Please include:

  • Booking Reference Number

  • Traveler Name

  • Travel Date

  • Reason for Cancellation

Refund eligibility and applicable charges will be calculated based on the date the cancellation request is received by Destination Cart.


8. Amendments to this Policy

Destination Cart reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.

Changes become effective immediately upon publication on our website.
